No Kings Music royalty-free tracks played by professional musicians using authentic instruments. Perfect for your project.
General Info
To share videos on social media, our Standard License (Pay-per-track or All Access Subscription plan) has you covered. However, if you’re looking to amplify your reach through paid ads, you can purchase the Extended License.
What’s the difference between an All Access Subscription plan and a Pay-per-track License?
While a Pay-per-track License covers one track only, our All Access Subscription plans unlock our entire music library. Enjoy unlimited downloads of tracks for an entire year, and for each track you use, download a license certificate authorizing perpetual usage (without any need for credits).
Please refer to the pricing table for more information.
We have a selection of Free Tracks available. However, there are a few guidelines to follow:
For online videos: The music can be used as part of an online video or live video streaming that is published and accessible free of charge. All that we ask is that you mention us and include a link to nokingsmusic.com in your description somewhere.
For theatrical performances, television and film: The music can be used in projects meant for educational purposes only and that do not generate revenue. For anything else please look into our paid plans.
For other authorized uses, please mention nokingsmusic.com whereever possible, so that we can continue to make music.
Our subscription plans provide you with access to the entire music library for one year from the start date of your subscription.
The licensed track is then valid indefinitely on projects made up to 90 days after the end of your subscription end date.
Yes, you can upgrade your License or Subscription Plan from your My Account page.
The copyright of all musical material on this site remains the property and ownership of No Kings Music. Your purchase allows you to use the material in accordance with your license.
All download RAR files include a high quality mp3 and an uncompressed WAV file.
Purchase the Standard or Extended License for single use products where your client will be the license holder.
Purchase the Premium License to use the track for multiple clients, where you and your client will both be license holders for the project.
Attribution is required for Free Tracks and is included with the download. Attribution for paid tracks is optional, but greatly appreciated!
Following customer requests, we have deliberately added a click count in to the tracks to aide with alignment in DAWs etc. for subsequent editing.
The No Kings Music team would be happy to consider amending our tracks to best suit your project. For example we may have added an electric lead guitar as the track progresses. Should you wish for the track to have a more consistent feel and, as in this example, you would like the electric guitar removed from the mix then please contact our support team with your request.
Contact Us at nkm@nokingsmusic.com to discuss any potential bespoke work.
Using Tracks
Cuts, fade-in/fade-out points, altering start and end points, using one or more selections from the track, looping and adding voiceovers are fine.
Once you’ve purchased your subscription plan you can download individual tracks the same as if you were purchasing them. Except everything in your license bracket will be free at the checkout.
You can then download them at the point of purchase, or all downloaded tracks will be stored in your My Account page, in the ‘Downloads’ tab.
Much the same way. Tracks will be downloadable at the point of purchase page, and will also be available in your ‘Downloads’ section of your My Account page.

Licensing
A license is a digital key that gives you legal permission to use a music track from No Kings Music in your project. It defines how and where you can use the music, and ensures you’re covered if your project is ever questioned about rights usage.
You’ll receive your license key instantly after purchase. It will be visible on the Thank You page, emailed to you, and accessible anytime from your My Account → License Keys section.
Go to My Account → License Keys.
Click Activate next to the license.
Enter the URL where the track will be used.
Describe what the project is about (e.g. podcast, YouTube video, ad).
Click Submit to register the license.
These fields are required and help us better support and protect your usage rights.
No. Each license is valid for one unique project. If you want to use the same track in multiple projects (e.g. a podcast and a video ad), you’ll need to purchase additional licenses.
If your license isn’t activated, it may be considered unregistered. This can limit your ability to:
Get updates or support.
Prove ownership if challenged.
Access some features or extended rights.
Activate your license to stay covered.
No. Licenses are non-transferable and are registered to the original purchaser only.
Licenses are typically lifetime for the registered project. You don’t need to renew it unless you’re using the track in a new project, which requires a separate license.
Log in and visit your My Account → License Keys section. You’ll see:
Your license keys
Activation details (URL + project description)
Status (active/inactive)
Date of purchase
If you’ve made a mistake or your project has changed, contact us at support@nokingsmusic.com. We’ll review your request and help update the activation details if eligible.
No worries. Just log into your account and go to My Account → License Keys. You can re-download or re-copy your key at any time. If you need help, email us.

Here are some of the rules that these platforms enforce when it comes to the use of music:
TikTok:
Videos can contain music for up to 60 seconds only.
Facebook/Instagram:
* Music in stories is permitted.
* The greater the number of full-length recorded tracks in a video, the more likely it may be limited.
* Shorter clips of music are recommended.
* Your video should have a visual component, and the audio should not be the primary purpose of the video.
* Certain regions are not serviced so if your video includes music, it may be blocked/muted in those locations.
If you receive a warning from Facebook/Instagram saying that your video is muted because you may be using copyrighted content, please click on “Restore Audio” or select the “Appeal” button on the notification. Then contact us.
